Lavender Festival @ The Kentucky Castle

Celebrating our history of property-grown lavender, this is our fourth annual Lavender Festival where we invite guests to come and see all The Kentucky Castle has to offer both inside the Castle Walls and on our Farm.

While we are re-planting our lavender plants that did not make it through the harsh winter, guests will each receive a sachet of lavender and learn the various ways it can be used in everyday life.

Guests are invited to browse our market vendors, enjoy delicious food from local food trucks, and listen to live music while exploring the Castle and Farm Grounds.

In addition to our market vendors, food trucks, and live music, there will be Farm Enrichment Activities and Workshops Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 am to 12 pm. Each day is a new topic, so please check the schedule below to ensure you purchase a ticket for the correct day.

• The art of curating a garden fresh summer salad and vinaigrette with The Kentucky Castle’s Farm Chef, Jason Walls.

Saturday, June 17th: Farm Inspired Summer Bouquets: Design a Garden Bouquet Workshop

• The art of designing a summer garden floral arrangement with our experts from The Teaching Garden.
• U-pick bouquets from The Teaching Garden are available after the workshop at an additional charge.

Each ticket includes:

• One lavender sachet
• Lavender shortbread cookie
• Lavender lemonade 
• Small Jar of TKC Honey
• Access to vendor/artist booths

Tickets:

• Adults 12+: $25 purchased online, $30 at the door
• Kids 3-11: $20 purchased online, $25 at the door
• 2 & Under Free (no ticket needed)

* Guests are welcome to explore the Castle grounds as well as pass through the main corridor of The Kentucky Castle (quietly, please). This is also a great opportunity to walk on our farmland and see The Teaching Garden in full bloom!

* Event will be held rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.

* Parking is available around the Castle and in our overflow parking lot.
