Laurie Polomsky is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, and the kind of person who has never been particularly interested in experiencing life halfway. Curious by nature and a storyteller at heart, she brings enthusiasm, creativity, and an almost unreasonable amount of intention to the people, projects, and experiences she cares about. Laurie earned her degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of Houston, taught middle school English for seven years, spent five years building and running her cottage bakery, Sugar Happiness, and is the author of The Best RV Guide for Couples with Dogs. A Rotarian since 2021, Laurie was named Rising Star for 2021–2022 and Rotarian of the Year for 2024–2025. She currently serves as Membership Chair and is President Nominee for 2028.
