Lauren Brabson, local singer/songwriter has performed in several venues throughout the NE Ohio area as well as serving other musicians in the community.She began playing guitar and songwriting at age 16, developing her own unique style and lyrics as her life experiences unfolded.
One significant period of withdrawal brought a time of deep and sometimes uncomfortable self awareness followed by overwhelming love and support of those who truly missed her musical presence.
These elements came together to inspire this upcoming cd, "Gypsy".
This simple & honest compilation reflects her gratitude for the gifts of everyday life and people; a new level of self appreciation and marks a completion of her personal goal as a musician.
Madison Cummins
Madison has played at assorted venues and events in Akron, Cleveland, and Athens, Ohio. Madison’s style includes influences of folk, classic rock, indie, and alternative music. Many of her songs draw inspiration from artists like Norah Jones, Sara Barielles and Carole King. Her debut album, Odd Little Place, was released in 2013. Madison’s sophomore album Antidote was released in July 2020 and recorded with local band Hey Monea. Madison continues to write and perform music.
