Laura Crema’s captivating voice is “unadulterated musical silk, and not to be missed.” -CBC RadioDistinguished Canadian jazz vocalist, Laura Crema has a purity of tone that can only be achieved by one gifted with a rare natural instrument. She has performed, recorded, and collaborated with some of the finest musicians in Canadian jazz, country, new and improvised music. Laura has recorded six critically acclaimed albums under her name, the most recent is collection of original songs co-created with guitarist, Bill Coon. She has toured and performed across Canada and Europe and has had the great honor to play many of Canada’s most prestigious jazz venues, including The National Art Centre in Ottawa.
Laura will be joined by Bill Coon (g) and David Caballero (b)!
$5 cover charge, 7:30PM downbeat!
Apollo's (formerly Tangent Café) hosts regular weekly evening jazz shows on Thursdays 7-9:30PM, and Fridays and Saturdays 7:30-10PM
