This is a FREE event, with donations for the Fringe accepted. We aim to be done by 10:00, so you can still get a good night's sleep.
Not sure what The Island Fringe Festival is all about? This is your chance to find out—in the most over-the-top way possible!
Performers from this year’s lineup have just five minutes to win you over. How? By acting out a scene, pitching their show, or—who knows—maybe breaking out the shadow puppets!
But wait—there’s more! We’ll crank up the fun with games, audience interactions, and a handful of prizes up for grabs.
This is your all-access, fast-and-furious, laugh-till-you-snort sneak peek at the weird, the wild, and the wonderful world of Fringe.
Performers + audience + a little chaos = the perfect Fringe recipe.
Come cheer, laugh, cringe, and fall in love with the Fringe!
Territorial Acknowledgement:
The Island Fringe Festival takes place in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This modern district of Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island) has been occupied by Indigenous Mi’kmaq People for over 12,000 years. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which did not deal with the surrender of lands and resources but in fact recognized Mi’kmaq title and established the rules for an ongoing relationship between nations.
Respect & Acceptance Statement:
Stive to provide an environment in which people can feel safe, confident, and comfortable at our events, regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation, and gender expression.
