Launch of Trumpet Issue 15

We are delighted to launch Trumpet Issue 15, edited by Dagogo Hart, on the 26th November at 6pm at Poetry Ireland.
About this Event

Dagogo’s issue focuses on themes of resistance and connection in ‘a world on fire’. Trumpet is Poetry Ireland / Éigse Éireann’s powerful literary pamphlet, offering an alternative commentary on the poetry and literary scenes, including both mainstream and marginalised voices.

Based in Portlaoise, Dagogo Hart is a dynamic poet, playwright, and performer. Since his debut in Dublin in 2016, Dagogo has rapidly risen to prominence, performing on The Tommy Tiernan Show, and at Other Voices, writing and directing the critically acclaimed play Mmanwu at the Dublin Fringe Festival, and representing Ireland on a cultural tour in West Africa.

Please come along to hear from Dagogo and many other contributors on the night!
