About this Event
To celebrate Cultural Diversity week, the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare and MacKillop Family Services invite you to a launch of a suite of resources – developed by MacKillop in collaboration with the Centre for Multicultural Youth – to enhance the cultural responsiveness of out-of-home care programs.
The resources include a guide to Building Multicultural Practice in Out-of-home Care, and supporting materials to embed culturally responsive care in your work.
The resources that will be launched and made available to the sector are:
- A guide for navigating racism in out of home care
- Building multicultural practice in out of home care
- Multicultural Advisor Support Guide
- Multicultural Cultural Support Plan Practice Guide
