All our shows receive standing ovations. Why is this? Because we hand-select who we put on our stage. Our comedians are not only hilarious, but they are also ENTERTAINERS. They aren't just telling jokes. Each of our comedians have a solid stage presence that keeps you engaged and waiting for the next funny tid bit!
We’re turning the private Signature Room at Gecko's into into a place where we can laugh and have fun together... again!
Knock Out Productions brings you another terrific, stand-up clean comedy event starring Headliner Mark Evans! Plus, we are thrilled to have opener Lori Evans! And, yes...They are a husband and wife funny team!
We hope you’ll join us to sit back and laugh with your friends!
• Come early, at 6:00 PM, and purchase an optional dinner!
• Room has a private, full cash bar available and private bathroom just for our attendees!
• After the show, meet the comedians!
Start Time
Doors open at 6:00PM, show time is 7:30 PM. We encourage you to come early, visit with your friends and order some dinner from a full Gecko's menu (for purchase). When our guests eat at the facility, it keeps ticket prices down and supports us immensely!
22% gratuity will be added to all food orders.
ABOUT THE COMEDIANS:
Mark Evans
Mark always loved comedy growing up and used to sneak down stairs and hide behind the couch to watch the Tonight Show, espec ially if George Carlin or Rodney Dangerfield was a guest. He never, in a million years, dreamed he would ever do stand-up; he wasn’t even the Class Clown! He first got behind a microphone in his mid 20’s when he became a DJ at Studebaker’s in Atlanta.
He had so much fun I started doing open mic’s at every chance.
Since then it has been an amazing ride! He has performed in almost every state (46), several cruise ships, and a number of countries. Mark has worked with some giants in the comedy world like: Jeff Foxworthy, Dave Chapelle, Jeff Dunham, Bill Engvall, Ron White and more!
You know that old saying about finding something you love to do, then finding a way to get paid for it means you never have to go to work again? It could not be truer. Mark feels that he gets to wake up every day and continue to chase his dream!
Lori Evans
After a rewarding career as an elementary school teacher, Lori graduated from the classroom to the stage. Stand-up was a natural progression for her, as she realized that performing at a comedy club is not that different from standing in front of a room full of six-year-olds. She has taken 33 years of hilarious interactions with kids that made her “head explode” and is now making audiences explode with laughter.
But there’s a lot more to Lori than just just being a teacher. She is dangerously over-educated, having four college degrees, including a PhD, and was even a contestant on the TV game show, Jeopardy. (She did not win.) Since then, Lori has taken her smart brand of humor across the country and overseas, always to great reviews. So come on out and let her make YOUR head explode!
Seating
Seats are at tables. Seating for this event will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Parking
There is ample, free parking for this event.
Attire
Casual. No beach attire, please.
Show Flow
• Once you are seated for the show, we ask that you please remain seated through the show.
• Continual show time is approximately 80 minutes. No intermission.
Safety
• You are permitted to take photos/videos before and after the show itself. However, no photos, video or audio recordings will be permitted during the show itself.
Photos/Video/Audio Permission and Tickets
• By purchasing a ticket, you are simultaneously providing authorization for photos, video and audio to be recorded of you and your guests at the event. These photos may be used for promotional purposes and at the discretion of Knock Out Marketing, LLC.
• Tickets are non-refundable, no exceptions. Should something arise that prohibits you from attending, you may give your tickets to a friend or neighbor, under the ticket holder’s name. No third-party seller ticket sales will be allowed entry.
