Laugh Your Craft Off is a series of craft workshops where you can make things with artists while comedians tell jokes. We’ve paired artists and crafters with comedians to take your grandma's craft circle to a whole new level. There will be laughs! There will be crafts! So grab yourself a drink and come hang out with us!

Join local artist Nicoleta Paints for a fun, relaxed collage workshop where you'll create a unique artwork using her collection of vintage books. Explore a variety of images from thrifted finds and road trip treasures as Nicoleta guides you through the process of selecting, arranging, and crafting your very own masterpiece. This artistic, low-pressure experience is perfect for all skill levels, allowing you to enjoy the creative journey and discover unexpected gems along the way.

About The Crafter

Nicoleta Paints (Nicoleta Dumville) is a mixed media artist based in Denver, Colorado, known for her vibrant paintings, collages, and wearable art. Drawing on her Greek-American heritage, a love for the American West, and the whimsy of everyday life, her work blends diverse influences and mediums. From desert landscapes brimming with flora and fauna to surreal, absurdist collages, Nicoleta's art invites joy and curiosity. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she is a self-taught artist who has been creating for as long as she can remember.

About The Comedian

Sammy Anzer uses his mixed-race background to examine all aspects of America and has done so while performing alongside DL Hughley, Maria Bamford, Fahim Anwar & Neal Brennan. Sammy has written for Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, captured Ziwe's interest for an interview, his debut album hit #1 on iTunes, and he’s appeared on PBS Roots of Comedy, Funny or Die, and Sirius XM.
