Laugh Your Craft Off: Celebrate Spring with Cards

Laugh Your Craft Off is a series of craft workshops where you can make things with artists while comedians tell jokes. We’ve paired artists and crafters with comedians to take your grandma's craft circle to a whole new level. There will be laughs! There will be crafts! So grab yourself a drink and come hang out with us!

This event is 18+.

Join Shanel Hughes for a craft class where we will be making a gift for someone you love! What kind of gift, you may ask? Jumbo cards with a springtime flare, of course! Come decorate an 8.5x11 foam flat card with spring decorations. Fill the card with treats and boom…You just made someone's day!

About The Crafter

Shanel Hughes is a professional crafter. She has hosted several Laugh Your Craft Off events; as it is one of her favorite events in Denver. She loves all things glitter and loves to make things by hand and by machine. Follow her @nelliesnicknacks because she definitely has something you will like.

About The Comedian

Calvin Reid is a Denver-born and raised comedian and award-winning performer. He has performed in some way, shape, or form across the country and loves to open up to audiences about his experience being a queer man in America, with too many pop culture references on top of course. With his clever observations and onstage charisma, Calvin wants to illustrate the fun and sometimes wacky life journey he’s been on so far. You may have seen him headline the CO Queer Comedy Festival or perform on the Boulder Comedy Festival, Rise Comedy Festival, and Jersey City Comedy Festival. (IG- @calvinreid_)
