I will be offering places on a Laughter For Health & Happiness Playshop - suggested booking/donation is £15 pp but please do donate more if you can! Anyone unable to join us in person on the day - please consider sponsoring me and making a donation to support me giving my time, energy, chortles and giggles for such a worthy and important charity.
Places are limited due to the room capacity BUT….if enough demand I may run 2 Playshops or have a special second event up my sleeve!
Sustained laughter gives us a holistic workout - influencing our physical and mental health as well as boosting our emotional and spiritual wellbeing; we feel good on EVERY level! Belly laughter works our heart and lungs, helps us let go of stress and tension, works abdominal and facial muscles, burns calories and floods our body with endorphins to lift mood, ease pain, reduce inflammation and flush out toxins. We even boost the immune system to help make us more resilient to colds, viruses and bugs. Norman Cousins (Anatomy of an Illness) called laughter “internal jogging”!
Therapeutic laughter is about letting go - of thoughts, of inhibitions, of limitations, of fear. Laughter is ultimately about LOVE and about FREEDOM. The freedom to laugh with abandon and unconditionally - without relying on anyone or anything to “make us laugh” - truly take ownership and responsibility for our laughter, health and happiness by embracing the giggling spirit within that is so intrinsically linked to our free inner child.
I am not a performer or entertainer - I am not here to tell jokes or “make you laugh” - it’s about inviting you to fully love and accept every part of you and the freedom, liberation and authenticity that brings - to love every part of you as a wonderful, incredible, emotional, flawed, imperfect, complete human being 🙏🙌🥰
