It's our big fundraising event of the year! Be entertained by our fantastic line up of comics as we get ready to laugh for the climate.
About this Event

Welcome to our hybrid event, live from Conway Hall in London and also Zooming direct to your living room.

We are excited to present a line-up of fantastic comics for your entertainment. Sunil Patel, Tom Ward, Kerry Godliman, Tom Mayhew, Jenny Bede and Ken Cheng will take to the stage for a rip-roaring night of laughter and entertainment.

We will also be joined by earth-pop duo Berne to round the evening off with some music. The event will be hosted by the climate journalist and broadcaster, Lucy Siegle.

This event is the grand finale of our annual fundraising month, and it's your chance to have a fantastic night out while supporting a very worthy cause.

Your ticket purchase will help us reach more people with our campaign, meaning that we can educate more people on the climate impact of aviation, inspire more people to travel without flying, and speed up the social shift away from taking flights as the norm.

We hope you can join us for this brilliant event!

Doors open at 7pm. First set, 7.30pm.

Tickets: £20 to be there in person. £10 to join us online*.

*There will be a professional team managing our sound, so our Zoom audience can fully enjoy the experience.

If you are joining in person, there is no need to print or bring a real ticket – we'll have a list of names on the door. There is a bar at the venue where you can purchase drinks and light refreshments.

If you are joining online, you will receive a Zoom link by email in advance of the event. The broadcast will begin with the first set at 7.30pm.

About our performers

Ken Cheng Cambridge maths dropout and professional poker player Ken Cheng burst onto the UK comedy scene in 2015 after reaching the final of the BBC Radio New Comedy Awards. You might have heard him on Radio 4 with shows such as Chinese Comedian and Drop The Dead Panda, and he's also appeared on Celebrity Eggheads.

Sunil Patel Since being a finalist at the BBC Radio New Comedy Awards in 2012, Sunil Patel has become a staple on the UK stand-up circuit as well as starring in Channel Five's mockumentary series Borderline. According to Chortle, "He performs with a relaxed confidence that puts the audience at ease."

Kerry Godliman TV and Radio regular Kerry Godliman is a familiar face on shows such as Mock the Week, Taskmaster and 8 out of 10 Cats, and a familiar voice on Radio 4's Now Show, The News Quiz, and Just a Minute. She has received critical acclaim for her acting work including in the TV comedy dramas Derek and After Life, and the hit radio series The Wilsons Save The World.

Jenny Bede An award-winning musical comedian and actress, Jenny Bede first gained a following on YouTube by writing, directing and performing in a series of topical parody music videos. In 2013, Jenny won Best Newcomer at the Musical Comedy Awards after just three live gigs. She has written and starred in numerous shows for Netflix, Sky, E4, ITV and the BBC.

Tom Mayhew Mixing the personal with the political, Tom Mayhew's material about his working class background sets him apart from any other act on the circuit. His 2019 Edinburgh show I, Tom Mayhew, received 4 and 5 star reviews across the board, and transferred to a sell-out Soho Theatre run.

Tom Ward You might recognise Tom from Live the Apollo, Live at the BBC, and from the LAD Bible show 'In My Personal Space'. He has supported Jack Whitehall, Joe Lycett and Sindhu Vee on tour.

Berne is an ethereal Earth-pop duo with a deep-rooted mission to inspire better care for the planet through their music and lifestyle. They perform dreamy electro-pop about the climate emergency, diversity and the refugee crisis, and animal rights. Supported by BBC Introducing.

Lucy Siegle specialises in getting the climate message out to people who might not otherwise hear it, most notably through her work as a reporter and presenter on BBC1's The One Show. She has written several books including 'Turning the Tide on Plastic: How Humanity (and you) Can Make Our Globe Clean Again' and 'Be The Ultimate Friend of the Earth: 100 questions to boost your climate and nature IQ.' She is also a speechwriter and strategic advisor to a number of high profile individuals, including climate activist and UNEP ambassador Ellie Goulding.
