BEYOND THE STREETS presents Laugh, Cry, Fight … with the Guerrilla Girls!, a solo exhibition of the Guerrilla Girls, marking the first time the iconic anonymous artist activists will hold a solo show in Los Angeles. The exhibition will feature a powerful selection of their classic works spanning their 30+ year history, alongside new pieces created specifically for this show. The exhibit will also include interactive elements, providing a thought-provoking and immersive experience for visitors.Since 1985, the Guerrilla Girls have been uncompromising trailblazers, exposing and dismantling sexism and racism in the art world with raw, guerrilla-style tactics. Their iconic gorilla masks, audacious posters, and biting humor have relentlessly called out the institutions that keep women and artists of color on the margins. They’ve ignited a cultural reckoning, challenging audiences to confront hard truths—and demand change.
