Laugh Basement is back at The Goodfoot Lounge on Monday, October 21st with headliner & Portland's Funniest Person contest winner Ben Harkins!
Public access legend Ben Harkins is a Portland based comic. His unsweetened perspective and deadpan delivery have made him an audience favorite throughout the PNW. His irreverent material attacks everything from the cost of groceries to the extinction of species. Harkins won the Portland's Funniest person contest at Helium and was voted #1 in Willamette Weeks Funniest Five. He is a regular host at Helium and has performed in the Bridgetown, SF Sketchfest and Savage Henry Comedy festivals, among others. Harkins has opened for many pros including Paulie Shore, Joe List, Matt Braunger and Tik-Toks Pearlmania 5000. He hosts Chill N Fill Comedy every Thursday 8pm. He also directed and produced a hit Soap Opera called Intrigue- Public Access Soap Opera.
Monday’s lineup also includes comics Cameron Peloso (2023 Portland’s Funniest winner), Elijah Mang, Oliva Jokes, and Gabby Poccia!
Every Monday, Laugh Basement is hosted by comedian Hewitt Pagenstecher who is accompanied by his friend and DJ, BHOLT at The Goodfoot Lounge. Doors to the basement of The Goodfoot open at 7PM and comedy starts around 7:30! $10 cash at the door. See you there!
