Laudare Music Academy, 2023-2024 Registration

Formerly know as The Little Mozart Academy, Laudare Music Academy is Gabriela Bohnett's music studio. Laudare offers music instruction in orchestra strings (violin, viola, cello and bass), and plans to offer choir and orchestra in a near future. Laudare’s mission is to guide students to grow in musical and overall virtue. We are committed to cultivating in our students the love for what is true, what is good, and what is beautiful. Laudare provides world-class instruction while guiding the students in the path to a meaningful virtuous life, according to the truths of the Catholic faith. A Catholic music ministry/apostolate accompanies this program, to offer instruction for students in financial need.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT POLICIES

Individuals may register for studies by interview/audition only. New and returning students must complete registration form and pay the annual $35 registration fee per family, plus a non-refundable deposit of $300 per student (students who complete registration before August 1st will be waived the $35 registration fee). The remaining tuition may be split into 10 equal installments, due on the first week of each month, starting in September and ending in June. Late payments (after the 15th of the month) will be assessed a $15 late fee. Tuition is for one weekly individual lesson (30/45/60 min.) and any ensembles, events available.

PAYMENT METHOD

Registration and tuition deposit payments may be made electronically or by check or cash. The monthly installments will be done electronically or by check on the first lesson of each month.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS

On days of inclement weather, online lessons will be offered, either Skype or FaceTime.

ATTENDANCE & TARDINESS

One (1) private lesson missed by the student per semester may be made up, in arrangement with the teacher only if the absence is reported 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. If ever a conflict arises with lesson time, a time swap may be arranged with another student. Academic tuition is based on the yearly calendar, and may not be pro-rated to accommodate missed lessons by the student. Students who are late for their instruction are not guaranteed full lesson time.

STUDENT RECITALS/CONCERTS

All students are encouraged to perform in regularly scheduled academy recitals and concerts throughout the year. Also, LMA frequently receives invitations to perform at public events, as well as private institutions celebrations and programs. Students may be invited to perform, depending on ability and sense of commitment.
