Latino Outdoors San Diego | Stewardship & Tidepooling

Saludos friends! We have limited spots for folks to join us at Cabrillo National Monument to become Stewards of the Park and learn about Leave No Trace principles as we walk and clean one of the park's trails. After the clean-up, we will take advantage of the low tides and have Bugologist Francisco lead us on a walk along the tidal area.

Please note that this event has a steep walk back from the tidepools to the main parking area. Benches are available if a slower pace is needed. More details will be sent to people that RSVP.

Stewards of the Park is a Cabrilo National Monument program and does not allow kids under 5 to participate. People under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

This event is free and in service to our gente but RSVP through eventbrite is required. You may be turned away if we exceed capacity and did not RSVP. Signing the waiver does not qualify as registration. More information will be provided to ticketholders.

Latino Outdoors activities are free and in service to our communities. Our volunteer leaders donate time and energy to plan these experiences, paying close attention to the number of people each event can accommodate. LOSD aims to create opportunities and access for everyone. In order to prioritize those who are fully committed to attending and being in comunidad, please honor your registration. LOSD will attempt to contact you via phone, email or text to confirm your attendance. Please be mindful of replying and confirming. LOSD may cancel your registration if no communication is made and use a no-show/late cancellation policy. We greatly appreciate your interest and cooperation!

Tenemos espacio limitado para que nos acompañen en Cabrillo National Monument para ser Stewards of the Park y aprender sobre Leave No Trace mientras caminamos y limpiamos un sendero del parque. Stewards of the Park es programa de Cabrilo National Monument y no deja menores de 5 años que participén. Menores de 16 años deben ser acompañados de un adulto.
