Latino Outdoors NYC | Mushroom Growing Workshop w/ Bronx Green-Up

Join the Bronx Green-Up team and Latino Outdoors as we dive into the fascinating world of fungi at the new Bruckner Mott Haven Garden!  In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the essentials of growing mushrooms at home, including the life cycle and ecological roles of fungi, how to select wood and prepare logs, techniques for spawn handling, inoculation, sealing, and best practices for log storage and care. All participants are welcome to keep their mushroom logs, too! All ages are welcome! This event is FREE but registration is required. Duplicate/incomplete RSVPs will be automatically returned.
