Join us for the Latino Outdoors Los Angeles - Griffith Park Full Worm Moon Hike! This event is your chance to experience the magic of a moonlit hike in Griffith Park with other nature enthusiasts. Let's come together to explore the trails under the glow of the full snow moon. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, make new friends, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Don't miss out on this special evening of hiking and moon watching. "Worm Moon" is defined as nature awakens from its winter slumber and the days grow longer and warmer, the night sky lights up with the first full moon of spring, also known as the Worm Moon.

It is recommended to gear up properly with warm clothing, shoes and additional apparel as it is expected to be approx between 69 (high) - 49 degrees (low) in the historical average for March for Griffith Park. The expected gain for this hike will be approx 900ft and just under 4 miles overall for this trip. It will last no more than 3 hours, all according to plan. Please bring headlamps and/or flashlights as well as treking poles (if you like) to help guide our short hiking adventure together.
Please note the exact location to meet will be https://maps.app.goo.gl/HfQ84MH9H85bQ2Di8. This meet up spot is on the north end of Parking Lot F that is adjacent to the Greek Theater. There is plenty of parking spaces here as well as a restroom prior to the hike.
