LATIN FESTIVAL 2024

A FESTIVAL SHOWCASING LATIN MUSIC AND CULTURE

An exciting event that brings the Latin American culture to life in the City of Mississauga.

The 12th Annual LATIN FESTIVAL 2024 is a unique 2-day event that celebrates the culture of Latin America from Saturday September 7 to Sunday September 8, 2024, at The Maja Prentice Theatre in Mississauga

This flavourful festival will showcase the finest Latin music in Canada.

Attendees will enjoy live entertainment by Latin American Folk Dance Groups, Afro-Cuban band Pablo Terry and Sol de Cuba, Latin Jazz Diva Laura Fernandez and Indigenous Ecuadorian band, Rimay, one of Canada's most popular bands. There also will be Arts & Crafts and Dance workshops.

Saturday, September 7

3:30 pm - Kid Arts & Crafts Workshop for families and kids

6:00 pm - Pablo Terry and Sol de Cuba (Afro-Cuban Band)

7:15 pm - Laura Fernandez (Latin Jazz Band)

8:30 pm - Rimay (Indigenous Ecuadorian Band)

Sunday, September 8

1 pm – Colombian Folk Dance Workshop for kids and Families

2 pm – Venezuelan Folk Dance Workshops for kids and Families

3 pm – Latin American Folklore Dance Groups
