Latin Dance Inclusive - keep dancing this 2026!
Join us at Ninian's Comely Bank (Stockbridge area, beside Waitross)
These vibrant dance sessions offer a joyful and inclusive experience, blending gentle Latin American choreographies tailored for young dancers with disabilities and their parents or carers. Get ready to move, connect, and celebrate in a fun-filled, supportive environment!
When? on the following Saturdays
- April: 25
- May: 2, 9, 23
- June: 6, 14, 20
- July: 4, 11
(You can join us on all dates or just one date.)
What is the time and duration?
Workshops (35 min) 10:40 -11:15
Free dance workshops: A gentle and fun blend of Latin American dance choreographies designed for young people with disabilities, together with their parents or carers. These sessions are proudly funded by Edinburgh Festival Carnival.
Inclusive Party Time! (30 min) 11:20 -11:50
Our parties are designed for all dance levels and mobility needs. We welcome music requests from our dancers, and if they’d like, they can take the lead in showing off their moves to their chosen song! This encourages confidence, creativity, and leadership through dance. Friends, family, and support workers are all encouraged to join in and enjoy the fun, inclusive atmosphere.
Where? St Ninian's Church, 40 Comely Bank, Edinburgh EH4 1AG, with street parking around.

Who can join? Young people aged 10–25 with a disability, accompanied by a parent or carer.
No experience is required!
Parents and carers are welcome to dance with us!

We aim to build confidence and have fun through dance, with the opportunity to take part in the
North Edinburgh Community Festival
Edinburgh Youth Carnival
& Edinburgh Youth Carnival, Edinburgh Carnival (19th July). Participation in events is always optional — you are free to decide if you’d like to take part or not.

Limited places are available per workshop. *First-come, first-served basis.
