Presentation by Rebeca Cartes, longtime Tucson musical artist and social activist.
Saturday, October 5th 2:00 pm (5:00 pm Eastern)
Salt of the Earth Labor College
1902 E. Irene Vista in Tucson
Born and raised in Chile, Cartes brought along both her revolutionary music and politics to Tucson. For several decades she has explored the music and culture of resistance taking place throughout the continent. She will discuss and share music and maybe even teach us a song.
