Lately: The Exhibit

In 2021, Artist and Creative Writer Taylor Deshay, released her Debut Single ‘Lately’ reflecting upon self while navigating the pressures and emotions of her experiences. Following the debut, Taylor is introducing part 2 of this project with an interactive installation of poetry, intended to dive further into the topics present in the song Lately, confronting topics like Intimacy, Pain, Vulnerability, and Honesty within relationships. After creating these written works, it was important for Taylor to envision the experience she creates primarily for Black Women, prioritizing their comfort in these spaces, and cultivating a strong sense of community amongst those who interact with her pieces.
