Join Erin LaMonica on Saturday, September 6th from 1-3PM for her first Late Summer Season Transformation Workshop at Yoga Squared! Traditional Chinese Medicine recognizes a 5th season, Late Summer, which occurs late August through September. During this transitional period, life shifts from the strong, active, and hot energy of summer to the cooler, slower, and more stable energy of fall. This is a time of year to focus on our well-being: digestion, spiritual harmony, and physical and emotional grounding.
In this 2-hour workshop, Erin will lead a group discussion on the Late Summer season to allow you to enter this season with intention and mindfulness. We will move into a gentle, grounding movement practice including breath work and relaxation techniques. The second half of the practice will focus on slowing down from the hustle and heat of summer with a cooling yin and restorative practice. Leave feeling rejuvenated, prepared, and inspired for the transitions ahead!
