Eftir at vit mátti útseta tiltakið í februar, er tað ein fragd at kunngera, at Norðurlandahúsið aftur kann skipa fyri stuttfilmakappingini Geytin tann 22. oktobur. Á kvøldinum verða nýggjastu føroysku stuttfilmarnir sýndir og tvær filmsvirðislønir, Geytin og Áskoðaravirðisløn, verða handaðar.

• Slag av filmi
• Synopsis
• Navn á leikstjóra
• Teldupostadressu og telefonnummar hjá kontaktpersóni
Síðani fáa tit eina persónliga URL-leinkju til eina mappu á OneDrive, har tit lasta filmin upp.
Krøvini til stuttfilmin, sum skal sendast Norðurlandahúsinum í seinasta lagi 15. septembur 2022, eru hesi:
• Stuttfilmurin skal í mesta lagi vera 30 minuttir
• Heitið stuttfilmur hevur í hesum føri breiða merking og fevnir um spælifilm, listafilm, tónleikafilm, heimildarfilm v.m.
• Stuttfilmurin skal hava enskan undirtekst
• Stuttfilmurin skal ikki hava verið sýndur áður á Filmskvøldunum í Norðurlandahúsinum
• Stuttfilmurin kann hava verið sýndur alment áður, men ikki longri síðani enn 17. februar 2021
• Nevndin tilskilar sær rætt at gera eitt úrval av tilmeldaðu filmunum
• Nevndin metir tilmeldaðu filmarnar eftir hesum virðum: søgu, søgusnildi og handverk.
Um tín filmur verður valdur til vísing á filmskvøldið, skal filmurin vera klárur at vísa í einum av hesum formatum: DCP, ProRes, DNxHR ella DNxHD.

After having to cancel the event in February, it is our great pleasure to announce that the Nordic House in the Faroe Islands will once again host the short film competition Geytin on 22 October. During the evening the latest Faroese short films will be shown and two awards, Geytin and Áskoðaravirðisløn (Audience Award), will be presented.
Submit your film by 15 September 2022!
You can submit your film by sending an email to [email protected], where you state the following information:
Title and duration of the film
Film genre
Synopsis
The name of the director
Email address and telephone number of the contact person
You will then receive a URL link to a folder in OneDrive, where you can upload the film.
The requirements for the short film, which has to be submitted to the Nordic House in the Faroe Islands on 15 September 2022 at the latest, are the following:
The short film must be under 30 minutes long
The term short film has a broad meaning in this instance and includes feature films, art films, music videos, documentaries etc.
The short film must have English subtitles
The short film must not have been shown at other film events in the Nordic House in the Faroe Islands
The short film may be shown publically before but not before 17 February 2021
The committee reserves the right to make a selection from the submitted films
The committee evaluates the submitted films on the basis of the following values: story, visual storytelling and craft.
If your film is chosen to be viewed at the event, your film must be ready to be shown in one of the following formats: DCP, ProRes, DNxHR or DNxHD.
