Our launch event for Last Train Home Music & Comedy Festival takes place in the stunning surroundings of Darlington's railway museum Hopetown.
This year we have the wonderful George Boomsma headlining. Hailing from Northallerton, North Yorkshire. George blends folk-rock influences, country motifs and rhythm & blues to create his rich, unique sound.

We also welcome Before Close the new collaborative partnership from Jodie Nicholson and Joe Ramsay. Expect close harmonies, gentle guitars and beautiful heartfelt lyrics.
Opening the event will be The Mist Calls. Made up of twins Millie and Joe, classically trained musicians from the North East coast of England. Their sound blends folk and jazz, with a focus on storytelling, guitar melodies and harmonies. In a short space of time they have recieved rave reviews from BBC Introducing and across regional radio
