USA Masters LAST chance to qualify for the IMWA World Masters in Athens. This is also a qualifier for the World Masters Games in Japan (2027).

USA Masters Weightlifting Membership is required for all competitors. Membership will be verified. Current photo ID will be required at weigh in. You can purchase membership here: https://usamasterswl.webpoint.us/

​COMPETITION SCHEDULE

Competition will take place on Wednesday. There will be one session for men and one session for women, each capped at 15 lifters. NO exceptions.

WEIGHT CATEGORIES AND DIVISIONS:

Masters age divisions will apply 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+

WEIGH IN Rules: Athletes must bring valid picture ID for verification. Athletes weigh in nude or in undergarments. Singlets, T-shirts, shorts, shoes, socks, watch, etc. are not allowed.

Weight Classes:

men 60, 65, 70, 75, 85, 95, 102, 110, 110+ (102 counts for USA only)

women 49, 53, 57, 61, 69, 77, 86, 86+

​WEIGHT CATEGORY CHANGE:

Please note that according to USAMW rules, an athlete may increase or decrease his/her body weight category at the Verification of Entries meeting (before the Technical Meeting). After the technical meeting an athlete may increase, but may not decrease his/her body weight category. An athlete who does not make weight or chooses to go up at weigh in MUST go to the regular weigh in and remain in that session for competition. Results will still be counted as usual.

​DRUG TESTING AND DOPING CONTROL:

Pursuant to the rules of USA Masters Weightlifting, these championships are a drug-tested event. The number of tests administered will depend on the number of entries received for the championships. Drug testing is conducted by Drug Free Sport.
