On Friday, September 4, 2026, you can get to know our Berlin campus, learn about our study programs, and meet our team in person.

The Open Day is the last event before the semester begins. It’s therefore a great opportunity if you’re looking for a study option at the last minute, have received a rejection from another university, or are already preparing your application to Media University Berlin.

What to Expect
Personal Student Counseling

Get answers to your questions about degree programs, study models, the application process, admission, and your potential start date. If you’re already in contact with Media University, you can discuss any open issues and next steps.

Campus Tours

Get to know Media University’s Berlin campus and learning environment in person. Tours are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Interactive Workshop

Get involved and explore a current topic related to college, your future, and the professional world. The workshop is designed to provide practical insights to help you make decisions about your studies and career.

Presentation on a Current Topic

Get an accessible overview of a current topic related to academic studies, research, careers, or professional practice.

Portfolio Consultation for Those Interested in Design

Ask questions about selecting, compiling, and presenting your work. You can bring your own work or an existing portfolio—either digitally or in print.

Studying Without a High School Diploma

Even without a high school diploma or a vocational college entrance qualification, a bachelor’s degree program may be possible under certain conditions—for example, based on completed vocational training or advanced vocational qualifications. At the Open Day, you can first discuss your personal situation and find out which documents are needed for a more detailed review.
