LAST OF THEM WONDER KIDS
Bouncing between post-punk and alternative indie rock, Grimsby’s Last Of The Wonder Kids are quickly mastering the art of mixing fuzzy melodies and infectious hooks to paint an often chaotic picture of their forgotten northern coastline.
Having toured extensively since their formation and with several major festivals under their belt, the four piece have been celebrated by the likes of BBC6 Music and BBC Introducing across the UK for their song writing and high energy live shows.
MORNING SESSION

A band composed of five uni students who each hold strong passions for creating eclectic and infectious sounds
that are sure to get any crowd moving.
Their talent on stage and in the studio is second to none, captivating listeners from all around.
“You’d be a “Criminal” not to see these guys live, very promising future ahead”
THE BRACKETS
https://thebracketsuk.bandcamp.com
“We’d love to introduce The Brackets as Yorkshire’s finest but with a front man with the strongest Blackburn accent around, we’ll settle for calling them The North’s finest. There’s no bullshit, it’s [four] guys defining life as twenty-somethings working in a lower class city. Remember the name [The Brackets] you’re likely to hear them becoming massive pretty soon.” - Backseat Mafia
They are not [un]like any early 00’s indie band you’ve heard before. [Desperately] trying to write a World Cup song as good as World In Motion. Best enjoyed with a few pints in a beer garden.
[Northern indie for your precious ears] xo
WALKING CONTRADICTION
“Catchy and anthemic” - Tameside Radio
“If Kurt Cobain was born in the Pennines rather than Aberdeen, Washington State, it would be a bit like Weird.” - Old Man Blues
An indie punk project taking inspiration for the American pop punk scene and the British indie scene. With influences such as Green Day, Blink 182, Catfish and The Bottlemen and Nirvana, Walking Contradiction creates music with catchy choruses and relatable lyrics. With two EPs released with a variety of different tunes there live show promises to be energetic and entertaining.
STRAYS
A Leeds based post punk/indie band with great energy, who are inspired by bands such as Foals, Fontaines and Talking Heads.
£7 Adv > Skiddle & bands. £8.50 otd. 18+
