It is cold and snowy outside, but the seeds don't mind! Learn how to bring gardening into every season with the Winter Sowing class focusing on native plants. The bees will thank you! We will discuss why winter sowing works, which plants are best suited for winter sowing, and different methods to properly winter sow. We will also briefly cover why native plants are the best choice for the environment.
Participants will be able to choose 2 to 3 species from a selection to prepare during class and take home to nurture on your own! Plenty of take home information will be provided in order for you to winter sow in years to come.
Class will be held at Woolly Bear Books in Carnegie from 6pm-7pm on March 7th. Pre-registration is required and can be completed by clicking the link for tickets below.
