About this Event
Howdy, readers! This will be a monthly book club run by two friends (Anna & Connor) where we focus on reading work by authors who are not straight white men.
We’re also supporting our local library, Crofton Park, by asking for donations to their Junior Book Club, a free reading group for kids in Lewisham aged 9 and up that Anna has been running for over a year.
We’re excited to get started and to build our SE reading community!
A few reminders to make sure our group is a safe and fun place for all:
-No transphobic, racist, or sexist language or behaviour.
-Treat everyone with respect and kindness.
-Take turns speaking and listen to others with an open mind.
