A One-Night Creative Celebration!

After an incredible season at Kindred Studios, Hurricane Headdress is packing up the studio and taking a creative pause while I search for the next space to call home.

Before everything gets boxed up, I'm opening the material vault one last time.

Join me for a free-form headdress-making experience where you can create whatever inspires you using feathers, flowers, trims, gems, vintage treasures, and all the fabulous odds and ends from the Hurricane Headdress collection.

Make a fascinator, crown, derby hat, Mardi Gras headpiece, festival accessory, or a gloriously over-the-top masterpiece. There are no rules and no experience is necessary—just come ready to play, create, and have fun.

Your ticket includes:

-Access to the Hurricane Headdress material vault

-Use of tools and supplies

-Guidance from artist Megan Maberry of Hurricane Headdress

-One finished creation to take home

Most of these materials are headed into storage, and I'd much rather see them transformed into something amazing that you'll wear and enjoy.

This isn't goodbye—just a creative intermission. Hurricane Headdress workshops will return in October after a summer of regrouping, creating, and finding the next perfect studio home.

What to Bring:
Nothing but your creativity! Feel free to bring inspiration photos, a favorite hat you'd like to embellish, or simply show up and see where the materials take you. Dress comfortably and be prepared to get a little glitter on everything. ✨
