The 5th Annual Florida Run For The Fallen is 7-9 Feb 2025. For those who would like to run the last 2 miles as a group with our Core Team and Gold Star family members, meet at Hero Marker 3-145 at 418 West Beaver St, Jacksonville FL 32202 at 12:00 pm. The Run Team will come through at approximately 12:42pm, stop for 90 seconds for a short ceremony. when the run team starts again, fall in behind the runners. Please, DO NOT pass our Core Runners or Gold Star family members. This is an honor escort, not a race. You will run .9 miles to Hero Marker 3-146, again stop for a short ceremony, then run to the Veterans Memorial Wall at the stadium. The group will be running up to someone holding Hero Marker 3-147, surrounded by Gold Star Family members. Please stand in support for these names being called. Once the short ceremony is over, the run team will break for 15 minutes before the closing ceremony.
If you have a run shirt from a previous year, please wear it. Someone will drop off some shirts if anyone would like one (limited sizes, colors, quantities.... what's in the box is what there is). This event is live streamed, please do not wear anything political or vulgar. Thank you!
