About this Event
Your mandatory Academic Orientation is designed to set you on the path to success in your academic program, life at Lassonde and York University and in building connections with your peers.
Location: Bergeron Center for Engineering Excellence (Building Number 81 on the )
As you get ready to embark on your post-secondary journey, this is a perfect opportunity to meet your Academic Advisors, Faculty as well as current and upper-year peers who will guide you through everything you need to know for your first year at Lassonde and York University.
We are excited to welcome you to our community!
Lassonde's Mandatory 2026 Academic Orientation occurs during Orientation Week (also known as WeekZero) and attending will provide you opportunities to:
- Connect with fellow incoming students in your program
- Meet upper-year students
- Explore Campus and Lassonde Spaces
- Learn about how to get involved outside of the classroom
- Get tips on how to succeed in your classes
- Meet Faculty members
- Discover the resources available to you as a student
While Academic Orientation is Mandatory for incoming Lassonde Students, you are able to choose ONE of the two days available to attend, as well as the timeslots for each Academic Orientation session. ***Please only sign up for one day***
