Laser Safety Course

The course content follows the recommendations of ASNZS4173:2004. A/Prof Lee Collins will present a comprehensive program that covers all the safety requirements of surgical and cosmetic medical lasers.

Topics covered include operational characteristics of lasers, laser hazards, principles and procedures for safe laser use as well as information on operation and safety of IPLs.

This course is approved for the purposes of obtaining a Class B or Class 4 operating license in NSW, QLD, TAS and WA.
