Do you know a young person whose looking for fun and affordable things to do this summer? Well look no further!This summer, Resonator is proud to offer a set of exciting, informative and engaging classes for kids and teens. Each class will be project-oriented and yield some form of fantastic creation. They are taught by working artists and art educators and the projects are designed to be educational, fun, and to introduce participants to accessible ideas, materials, and processes that they can build upon in their own time.
We’ll be joined by the Pioneer Library System’s Maker Mobile for this class. Kids will draw compositions on iPad tablets, then be able to have to have their drawings carved onto linoleum blocks using the PLS’s laser cutter. Blocks can then be used to print or as rubber stamps.
$30 course fee. All materials provided. Wear something you don’t mind getting a little messy.
