oin the Las Vegas Brass Band as they take a musical journey around this great land and beyond! Landmarks from New York to California will be spotlighted with a few surprise destinations thrown in.
The Las Vegas Brass Band is one of the longest-running community ensembles in Las Vegas. They've celebrated over 30 seasons however, in the grand tradition of British brass bands, they are barely an infant. Founder and President Pete Cooper and Musical Director Dr. Richard McGee bring together nearly thirty local musicians playing cornets, flugel horns, euphoniums, trombones, tubas and percussion to create a sound not often heard in the American Southwest – a British brass band, a sound that is more lush and mellow than the typical orchestral brass ensemble.
