This will provide the foundation to identify keywords to search for (mostly secondary) sources in order to:
Identify what research has and has not been done on your topic
Learn more about the subject, including:
- Key events/people/processes
- Potential sources
- Definitions of important concepts
- Relevant theory and possible research methods and frameworks
Build a bibliography
- If needed or desired, you can further develop this into an annotated bibliography and/or literature review for a course assignment or even publication!
