Tucked away in the foothills of California, a band of renegade women honor the music of the Grateful Dead. Las Ninas Muertas, a five piece, mostly acoustic band plays your favorite Dead tunes. Imbued with the spirit of love for this timeless songbook, LasNinas Muertas sing in four-part harmony, with searing harmonica and electric guitar riffs, the twang of banjo and the twinkle of mandolin all sitting on the foundation of upright bass.
Las Ninas Muertas invite you to dance, sing along, and come
together over a shared appreciation for one of the most iconic bands of our time. Juliet Gobert of the famed Bob Woods band is one of the driving forces behind this fresh project. They came in here an rocked the place on the day after Christmas and we had to have them back as soon as possible!
