A flamenco esszenciája kortárs értelmezésben.

The all-female Barcelona-based band Las Migas, one of Spain’s most popular contemporary ensembles, arrive to perform on their own in Hungary for the first time. These outstanding representatives of the Catalan modern folk scene formed in 2004, and until 2011 counted Silvia Pérez Cruz – whose widespread popularity extends to this country – among their members. Revolving around guitarist/band leader Marta Robles, Las Migas are constantly keeping themselves current by involving new talents. They have released seven albums to date, with a musical focus on fresh offshoots of the flamenco tradition. Attesting to their success are the nominations for Flamenco Album of the Year at the Latin Grammys received by three of their records, with two of them (Libres in 2022 and Flamencas in 2025) going on to receive the prestigious award. Their music is a contemporary interpretation of the essence of flamenco.
