LAS Advisory Committee Annual Meeting

This will be an opportunity to meet other members of the Committee; briefly review the successes of the LAS's first nine years; hear an update on our exciting 2026 season; and share your ideas on how to continue to build the importance and popularity of this premier contemporary music series.

The meeting will start promptly at 9 a.m. Please arrive early to get situated with coffee and light breakfast, and come prepared with no more than three (3) ideas for artists you think would be ideal for inclusion in an upcoming season of the LAS, considering the following goals:

• Grammy-winning/nominated or other nationally recognized performers and bands from diverse contemporary music genres (with renewed focus on hip-hop, electronic, and indie rock acts to round out our offerings and appeal to a younger crowd)
• Popular acts with proven ability to sell out Memorial Hall’s 556-capacity theater (we have Pollstar tour history credits that can be used to verify past concert venues, ticket pricing, etc.)
• Artist's fee range is $10K to $40K (concert sponsorship/foundation support needed for higher end)

RSVP by Friday, April 10.

Upon arrival, please meet in the second-floor hallway outside the theater to grab refreshments. The meeting will be held on the Longworth Anderson Stage.
