Larry Sanders Trio - Blues at Walker's Jazz Lounge!

We're looking forward to mixing things up at the lounge, and are partnering with the Wichita Blues Society for some incredible music. Join us for an evening of blues/jazz fusion every final friday, where the ambiance of our lounge brings the music to life!

Kevin Harrison: Vocals

Kevin Harrison is a social sciences professor at Wichita State University, where he delves into various aspects of human dynamics, using the blues as a notable example of emotional expression and Black culture. As a musician and poet, Kevin sings, plays the saxophone, and crafts poetry, songs, and short stories, including the sports biography One and Done: The Korleone Young Story. He regards both country and blues music as significant reflections of Black culture, and the contributions of Black culture to the Americas. Both underscore his profound appreciation for both genres.
