About this Event

How it works: for each edition of our book club we’re going to select one book we enjoy that engages themes of death, grief, or nature. We’ll announce the selection and give you time to read it before we meet in-person at the Larkspur Library for an enriching discussion.
This pre-holiday installment of Larkspur Book Club will meet Thursday, November 20th, from 11am-12:30pm CST, and we will be reading, "Wintering" by Katherine May.

"Wintering is every bit as beautiful and healing as the season itself." -Elizabeth Gilbert

"A perfectly timed hug you didn't know you needed, a warm blanket on a cold day." - Nora McInery

Participants will be responsible for purchasing their own copy of the book or borrowing from the Nashville Public Library prior to our event.

The first 30 minutes of book club will be for tea, snacks, and mingling, then we will get settled and dive into a 1hr discussion of the book! Registration for this book club will be extremely limited, so make sure you reserve your seat early!
