Half a century ago, our families left Laos in search of safety and a new home. We’ve heard the stories of struggle and survival from our parents and grandparents—and today, we stand on their shoulders. From doctors, lawyers, and teachers to athletes, artists, and entrepreneurs, Lao Americans have made incredible contributions to this country.
