We are excited to have an all-day event for the celebration of our Lao New Year and commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Southeast Asian Refugee Resettlement.
Siengkane Lao MN (SKLM) along with our United Senior Lao American Association (USLAA) will be hosting our 2025 Lao New Year Traditional Celebration (Pii Mai Lao) with The Lao Center (LACM) this year.
We would like to invite you all to join us on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at the Minnetonka Community Center to celebrate the Lao New Year (Pii Mai Lao). There will be a religious ceremony, giving alms, Baci/su kwan and traditional Lao dance performances by our SKLM Dance Troupe.
Did I mentioned lunch is provided!?! We will have fun activities & finish off with some lum vong (dancing engagement) in celebration.
