Language Taster Sessions for Broad General Education Pupils
About this Event
10 places per school (including teachers) on a first come first served basis.
These 20-minute language parallel sessions will give pupils an opportunity to take part in interactive language lessons in Italian, Spanish, Czech, Russian, Gaelic, Japanese, Chinese, and more.
The event will start at 10 am and will finish by 1 pm.
The final programme will be emailed to attendees closer to the date.
This invitation is open to all BGE pupils because we would like to inspire you to study languages in school and beyond. Studying a language at Beginners Level is an option available to all first-year students at the University of Glasgow. Students who choose to study a language can, if they wish, continue studying this in their year 2 and from there progress to a degree including that language.
Refreshments will be provided but perhaps bringing your own lunch and water is advisable.
