About this Event
In these hands-on workshops, we step into the magical world of wordless books. Guided by beautiful illustrations, each session begins with a different story that invites children to imagine, interpret, and bring the narrative to life in their own unique way. Storytelling, art making, and lively conversation intertwine as children explore ideas, invent characters, and share the languages and stories they carry with them. Together with artist Paola Invernizzi, we build meaning from images, curiosity and imagination. Are you ready to turn colourful pages into big adventures?
PLEASE NOTE:
Workshops are free of charge, but booking is required as there is limited capacity. When you reserve a child ticket, the accompanying adult is automatically included. If you can’t make the event, please email us at [email protected] so that some other family can benefit from attending the workshop.
Please remember that children must be under the supervision of an accompanying adult throughout the workshops.
Activities have been specifically designed for children aged 3 to 6. However, if you have an older child who wishes to participate, they are more than welcome (please book a place for them too). For children younger than 2.5 years, the activities might be too complex, but they are also welcome to accompany their older siblings. No need to reserve a spot for younger accompanying children.
This workshop series is funded by the Arts Council and Rua Red Arts Centre.
