Langthorne Park Forest School Drop Off Days
About this Event
Come and join us for the launch of our brand new Forest School in a newly refurbished woodland area in Langthorne Park. This session has been part funded by the National Lottery Community Fund to improve access to green spaces in Leytonstone, particularly the Cathall and Cann Hall wards. Families from these areas or who go to school locally are specifically invited to attend.
Forest School is an inspirational process that offers children, young people and adults regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem, through hands-on learning experiences in a local woodland environment. Forest Schools help children develop holistically, by providing opportunities for child led play, discovery, and supported risk taking through activities like tree climbing, fire lighting and tool use.

Session suitable for ages 5 to 11.
Sessions last from 10am to 2pm.
£20 per child per session (this includes eventbrite booking fees). We are able to offer a few tickets per day at a 50% discount for families local to the park who are eligible for free school meals, please email [email protected] to find out more.
Each child will need a nut-free packed lunch. We will always provide a snack on the fire but children can also bring their own additional snack (anything that can be stuck on a stick works!).
