About the Show:
“LANDMARKS” is an exhibition of oil paintings of places we've all seen in Lincoln and Omaha; twisted into Bantam's magical realism style on canvas.
The show runs from May 10th - June 2nd.

About the Artist:
Wendy Jane Bantam's work can be found in the permanent collections of the Sheldon Museum, The Museum of Nebraska Art and the permanent collections of Berkshire Hathaway, Zaiss and Co, Teleflora and The Sherwood Foundation.
Bantam received her BFA in ceramics and painting from the University of Kansas and her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska.
She's been a visiting professor in the art department of the University of Nebraska~Omaha, the University of Nebraska~Lincoln and, nationally and internationally, has taught art history, ceramics and painting.
Bantam is a teaching artist through the Artist-in-the-Schools-and-Communities with the Nebraska Arts Council and an Artist-in-Residence for the Lied Center for Performing Arts. She is a recipient of the Mayor's Arts Awards and is represented by Anderson O'brien Gallery in Omaha, Nebraska.
She's held artist residencies with Kimmel- Harding-Nelson, Marriott International, Bali, Indonesia and the United Kingdom.
Bantam grew up on the Mirage Flats of the Nebraska Sandhills, Ghost Ranch, New Mexico, and Northern Wales in the United Kingdom. Her home studio is in Lincoln, Nebraska.
