On this day, we’ll share our thoughts and memories of landscapes and places that are dear to us. We’ll make ‘marbled’ paper, which is an exciting and easy way to create shapes and patterns that resemble contours. We’ll also spend some time outdoors, where we’ll take a short, relaxed walk to collect natural objects which we’ll make into brushes and quills. Finally, we’ll support you to use the inspiration from these memories and activities to make your own creative maps and artists' booklets. You can take these home as a living memento of a place that’s dear to your heart.
There’s no prior artistic experience needed – it’s fun and relaxed, and we’ll provide all the materials you’ll need!
