About this Event

Join us for our first "Land Trust Days" event of 2026!

Michelle Morton, Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide, will lead us through an introduction to "Forest Bathing".

Forest Bathing is a practice of nature immersion, elevating sensory observations in the present moment. Participants “bathe” in the sights, sounds, textures, and scents they encounter while noticing plants, animals, weather, seasons, and the landscape. This Forest Bathing experience, led by a certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide, takes place along a relatively flat gravel and natural suraface trail. Participants will have opportunities to walk, sit, wander, rest, and share observations as we travel up to 1.0 mile. We will conclude by sharing tea and snacks together to promote a sense of presence and awareness.

With a background in elementary education and place-based learning, Michelle Morton (she/her)leads mindful outings that connect participants to nature, combining research on nature’s benefits with the power of reflection.
